Refund Policy
If ScreenWright isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of buying and you'll get your money back. No hoops.

Within 14 days: a full refund
Ask within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund it in full. Maybe it doesn't work with your device, or maybe it isn't what you hoped. Either way, you don't need to justify it. We'd still like to know why, because it helps us make ScreenWright better.
There's no free trial of writing to a device, so this is how you try it for real. Before you buy, the free features show you what ScreenWright reads from your device and exactly what it would change.
How to ask
Either way works:
- Ask us through the support page. Choose “Billing or license” and use the email address you bought with.
- Ask Paddle directly, through the link in your receipt email or at paddle.net.
Paddle sells ScreenWright for us, so Paddle issues every refund, to the payment method you used. How quickly depends on which kind of refund it is:
- Our 14-day refund (this policy): Paddle aims to process it within 14 days of approving it.
- A legal right to cancel (see Your legal rights): Paddle refunds you within 14 days of receiving your request to cancel.
Either way, your bank or card may take a few more days to show the money.
After 14 days
After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion, and we look at each request fairly. Tell us what happened. If ScreenWright can't write to your device because of a bug we can't fix in reasonable time, we'll make it right.
Apple can change iOS in ways that break ScreenWright. Our Terms explain this. A later iOS update that breaks ScreenWright doesn't by itself mean a refund after 14 days. Tell us anyway: we'll work on a fix and be straight with you about the prospects.
What happens to your license
A refunded license ends, and we revoke its key. A revoked key can't activate any more Macs. On Macs where it's already active, it stops unlocking writes from the next ScreenWright update you install, or the next time ScreenWright contacts our license server, whichever comes first. Everything free keeps working, and your snapshots and saved layouts stay on your Mac.
Changed your mind later? You can buy again at any time.
Your legal rights
In some places, including the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the law gives consumers a right to cancel a purchase. Paddle's refund policy explains those rights. If you use one, Paddle refunds you within 14 days of receiving your request, not 14 days from approving it. This policy adds to them and never reduces them. If you're asked at checkout to agree that delivery can start straight away, which can end a legal right to cancel, our 14-day refund still applies.
Before you dispute a charge
Please ask us or Paddle first. A refund reaches you faster than a bank dispute, and it's simpler for everyone.
